Music Studio Mission
Music Education belongs to the top priorities of Mrs. Raab. Students of the Music Studio located in Centereach receive the highest level of musical and technical instructions in a friendly, patient, and encouraging environment. The enriched program of individual and group classes for piano and horn students goes far beyond just lessons. It comprises of recitals, music playing parties, music game parties for young students between age 3.5-6 years old, opportunities for the best students to perform with their teacher during various music events for the outside community of Long Island, NYSSMA “runs through” for students taking part in the upcoming competitions, and many others… The program at the studio inspires excitement, creativity, and virtuosity. The goal is to expose each individual to a variety of musical styles (from classical to jazz, blues and pop) thus giving each student a chance to develop his/her musical talent, expression and artistry to the fullest extent. The performing opportunities and music contests at the studio are fun, encouraging, and bring a lot of satisfaction. Through conscientious study, students develop their appreciation for music and find pleasure and satisfaction in both practicing, and performing music for others. Lessons are offered for students of all ages and experience levels including 4 years old children in group classes and senior students. Technique, theory, ear training, and sight-reading are all part of the curriculum, to give a strong foundation to explore any level of music. All classes are taught by classically-trained instructor with high credentials in both teaching and performing. Please visit teacher profile for more information.
