Education belongs to the top priorities of Mrs. Raab- Pontecorvo. In 2005 she founded Masters of Music- Music Studio and designed an enriched program of individual and group classes for piano and horn students. The program goes far beyond just lessons. It comprises of recitals, music playing parties, music game parties for young students between age 3.5-6 years old, opportunities for the best students to perform with their teacher during various music events for the outside community of Long Island, NYSSMA “run throughs” for students taking part in the upcoming competition, etc....

The most recent recital, which closed Fall 2006 Semester, took place in the Jefferson Ferry Theater on January 25 th 2006. It was filled with variety of classical, jazz, blues and pop compositions, and Christmas carols. Four students received the recognitions for their exceptional practicing during the semester, and for winning “scales” and “sticker” contests. To reach outside her music studio and help young audience in becoming familiar with various instruments and musical styles, Mrs. Raab- Pontecorvo performs master- classes in Long Island schools and organizes concerts and outreach music programs in cooperation with musicians from other Masters of Music ensembles ( East End Brass Quintet and Quinte Esentia Woodwind Quintet).
